Here’s a quick tip for those who are
struggling with issue of doing changes to BEx queries in Query Designer and it
is not possible. Of course it is authorization issue. BEx announces it with
following message while want to change something on query:
Essentially
what is missing in your roles is following authorization object: S_RS_COMP. While
you will be maintaining particular role in TA PFCG containing this object you
need to specify following items:
Type
of reporting component (RSZCOMPTP) = "REP"
Activity
(ACTVT) = "02" (e.g. for changes)
You
can also restrict BEx queries according your naming convention:
Name
(ID) of reporting component (RSZCOMPID) = A*
